Religious Right at the Crossroads
Current Affairs, Social Issues - 1x48

The 2008 American presidential election is a defining moment for the Religious Right.  In 2004, they swept George W. Bush to a decisive re-election.  In 2008, however, they have no presidential contender from either party who is both theologically and politically conservative. For whom will conservative evangelicals vote on November 4th? The film opens with the results of the 2008 election and establishes the fallen state of the Religious Right since 2004. Viewers are immersed in the changing lives and values of today's conservative evangelicals as they are presented with the question of whether the Religious Right can hold onto its moral absolutes and still participate in the current political arena.
